Father Guindon Student Assistance
Fund at the University of Ottawa
The
Father Guindon Student Assistance Fund was established by the University of
Ottawa to assist students in overcoming their financial difficulties and supporting their further education. Applications for financial aid are now being
accepted for the school year 2023–2024.
Only
students who have conquered or are currently coping with major and ongoing life
obstacles will get help from the fund. Ideal candidates include Canadian and
international students enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree
program at the University of Ottawa. Selected students may anticipate receiving
an incredible sum of up to $20,000.

Eligibility Criteria
All
applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Father
Guindon Student Assistance Fund:
- The
candidates must be first-time, full-time students in an undergraduate
degree at a university.
- The
candidates must be citizens of Canada, permanent residents, or have
refugee or protected person status (unless otherwise indicated).
Application Procedure
The
following procedure remains the only viable route to apply rightfully:
- Applications
for admission must be submitted through the OUAC site.
Automatic consideration will be given to all qualified applicants.
- Supporting
Documents: High school
transcripts are a must for the pupils.
- The
candidates must satisfy the university’s entrance standards for the
relevant program in order to be considered.
- Students
must submit their results from the following English language proficiency
exams:
